Kirsty Hill
Senior Mortgage & Protection Adviser
Kirsty has been a key part of the JXP team since 2012. Initially joining us a Para Planner, helping in the processing of mortgage and protection applications. Looking to expand her knowledge, Kirsty took all her mortgage exams and became qualified in January 2017.
Away from work, Kirsty is a mum of two boys, Governor at a local school in Peacehaven and to relax Kirsty enjoys spending time with family and friends & attending live music & sporting events.
Lewie Jamieson
Mortgage & Protection Adviser
Lewie joined JXP in January 2018 as a Trainee Mortgage & Protection Adviser. Having previously worked at one of the leading independent Estate Agents, he gained invaluable experience of the home buying and selling process.
After passing his exams in late 2018, Lewie is now fully qualified and is a key member of the JXP team.
Outside of work Lewie is a keen footballer, supports Arsenal and likes to travel when he can.
Barney Pout
Mortgage & Protection Adviser
Barney has worked in the Mortgage & Protection industry for various independent advisory firms since qualifying in 2007 and joined JXPC in early 2025.
From working with new build sites and first-time buyers to those with buy-to-let portfolios, Barney enjoys all aspects of securing mortgages for a variety of clients.
In Barney’s early working life, after training at a theatre school in London, he spent nearly a decade working in the luxury cruise industry as an Entertainments Director and Singer – combining his love of travel and performing. In his spare time, he gigs with his wife as ‘Duality’ with his function band at events across the Southeast.
Travis Smith
Mortgage & Protection Adviser
Travis joined JXP in the summer of 2022. Travis has gained expert knowledge in the mortgage industry after passing his exams in 2016 and working with a large building society for several years. Outside of work he likes to play football and golf and loves cooking and travelling.
Jack Mason
Mortgage & Protection Adviser
Jack joined JXP in late 2024, bringing with him extensive experience from his time at a large corporate mortgage company. Having qualified in April 2016, Jack offers a wealth of knowledge in the mortgage industry. During a career break, he pursued his passion for interiors and kitchens, successfully running his own local businesses. However, his enthusiasm for helping clients buy or stay in their homes led him to return to the mortgage and protection sector.
Outside of work, Jack is an avid golfer and currently serves as the Seaford Head Golf Club Captain for 2024/2025. He also enjoys watching football and exploring the world through his love of travel.
Laura Peerless
Mortgage and Protection Administrator
Laura joined JXP in September 2024 as a Mortgage and Protection Admin having previously worked in Retail and Commercial Banking. Her role is to support the Mortgage Advisors in completing the mortgage and protection process and help submit applications in a timely manner.
Outside of work Laura plays rugby for Seaford RFC as well as getting out for a long walk and a pub lunch and cooking.
Daniella Myles-Watkins
Mortgage and Protection Administrator
Daniella joined JXP as a Mortgage Administrator in 2021 , she provides backup support to the advisers to ensure that a customer’s mortgage & protection journey is as smooth as possible.
Joel Piveteau
Principal
Joel set up JXP in January 2007, with a goal of offering the best customer service. Initially working in Advertising & Marketing for 15 years, Joel has brought a fresh look to mortgage advice.
Over this time Joel & his team have helped 1000’s of clients buy their first home, move and remortgage. The company quickly established itself as one of the leading mortgage brokers in Sussex working closely with many local Estate Agents.
Out of work Joel, is married to Charlotte (who runs the administration and accounts side of JXP) and during the week is a ‘Dad taxi’ to his two children that play lots of sport. He plays golf when he can and is a keen follower of football.
